Could we finally be breaking a previously static top 10? The addition of the K-Pop Demon Hunters into the 2025 mix, becoming a titanic force in their own right with nearly a half dozen tracks that threaten the top of the list week-over-week, has finally thrown a wrench into a group that was appearing quite stale. And don’t look now, but reinforcements could be on the way, as three A-list names end up as big winner’s on this week’s Tracks rankings: Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, and Cardi B.
Get you a superstar who can do both. After bouncing back to hip-hop following what the artist described as a “cash grab” in Planet Her, Doja Cat landed back on the pop side of the equation for her fourth album, Vie. However mercurial her attitude towards past work is, her current era is paying dividends, defined by Jack Antonoff-assisted, expertly produced ’80s radio fare. Even less than a week since its release, we’re already seeing manifestations of how this “return to form” is playing out commercially — her “Gorgeous” and “Jealous Type” clock in around the #50 mark. Once all platforms update their tracking to include all the LP’s material, expect those two to gain plenty of peers.
The Third Sabrina Carpenter And Second Cardi B LPs Join Doja Cat

All the new blood on the charts has shaken up the top 10, edging out mainstays like Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan and replacing them with names like Ravyn Lenae and the aforementioned K-Pop Demon Hunters. However, Sabrina Carpenter has managed to seamlessly replace some of her top-of-the-rankings material with cuts seemingly headed for the same trajectory. “Manchild” clocks in at #3 in the MD Tracks list this week, marching on in a dominant run since its lead single release toward the middle of the summer. Actual album drops like “Tears” continue to build towards similar fates, that song checking in at #12 and potentially becoming the “Please Please Please” to “Manchild”‘s “Espresso.”
AM I THE DRAMA? asked Cardi B with her long-awaited sophomore album, and if you’ve even glanced at a social media feed this week, there’s been no shortage of it. We’ll leave discussion of the spat between her and longtime rival Nicki Minaj for another day, especially as we still see the reverberations of the LP itself. You’ll have to scroll a bit in our rankings to see the first sighting of Belcalis in our list, as “Pretty & Petty” checks in at #76 with substantial Billboard numbers and solid streaming traction. However, a boatload of her material rounds out this MD Tracks edition from there: “Dead,” “Outside,” “ErrTime,” “Bodega Baddie,” “What’s Goin On,” “Pick It Up,” “Imaginary Playerz,” “Man Of Your Word,” “Salute,” and “Better Than You” appear before the top 100 is out.
