Alfie Templeman Thinks He Might Be “Broken”

Rising British artist Alfie Templeman released his latest single “Broken,” following his November’s “3D Feelings.”

Alfie Announces Debut Album Mellow Moon

For the past year, Alfie has been sharing tons of music. But he’s not ready to stop, though. Recently, the singer announced that his debut album, Mellow Moon, is set for release on May 27. The project will feature a total of 14 songs, including last year’s “3D Feelings” and “Broken.” As well, some unreleased tunes that made the project are “Candyfloss,” “Galaxy,” and the title track, “Mellow Moon.”

Although Alfie has already shared two mini albums in the past – including 2021’s Forever Isn’t Long Enough, this will be his very first full-length project. So, this is a huge deal for him. Also, the album’s title takes inspiration from the singer’s typical mellow style of his music.

Writing “Broken” Was Like Therapy For Him

Sharing the new track “Broken” alongside the big news, Alfie says, “It’s a bit of an anthem for people my age really, all the wobbles of being a teenager and figuring yourself out. It’s about realizing that analyzing yourself is an important part of growing up.”

He continues, “I think people assume that I’m this easy, outgoing person but there’s actually a lot more layers to me and this record shows that. Writing songs like ‘Broken’, ‘Take Some Time Away’ and ‘Mellow Moon’ was like therapy. It was me asking ‘What’s wrong with me?’ and ‘How am I going to get better?’ Just figuring things out in real-time. I had therapy but there were still things unresolved in my mind. So I turned to music for the answers.”

He’s Going on Tour in Europe!

Ahead of the big release of Mellow Moon, Alfie will hit the road across Europe in March. With support from Karin Ann, the exclusive 7-date tour will stop in different countries like France, Germany, and Belgium. You can find all dates and tickets to the tour here!
