The Wrecks Release A Deluxe Edition Of ‘Sonder’

The Wrecks are back folks! Following the release of their absolutely great album Sonder, these dudes are putting out a deluxe edition! Yep, this witty, genre-blending band is adding remixes, acoustics, and side-bs for their music. What else can come with this to sell me and you? Well, how about a brand new single?

The Wrecks, Pain, and Sonder

Now, the subtitle really fits their name, doesn’t it? On the other hand, Things You Make Me Do” sees vocalist Nick Anderson going through a break up in the coolest way possible. Specifically as an underdog, on the ropes, and pulling out his mightiest weapon: the pen. According to him: “I was processing a breakup slowly and poorly, and for a while there, the breakup was winning.”

Which, if you ask me, really sucks. Luckily, the song and the album really got him through it. So Sonder is a cathartic project about the most pain we can suffer as people: heartbreak. Aside from that this work really showed off The Wrecks’ most positive qualities, thanks to sleepless nights and an overwhelming sense of optimism. Maybe that’s exactly what you need in your life- or maybe that’s enough to spark an interest.

Well go on then! Check out The Wrecks and Sonder (Deluxe) wherever you get your music. For Things You Make Me Do you can click here or above. And that’s it from me! For more on your favorites and unknowns check out our Word and Drops sections.
