Aidan Bissett has released his latest single, “Bloom,” and it’s about the good, the bad, and the love that shines through it all.

Singer-songwriter Aidan Bissett has released his newest single, “Bloom.” The indie pop artist sings about looking back on memories, both good and bad. Despite the mix of emotions, the surety that his love made “everything bloom” stands tall.
The music video for “Bloom” is very aesthetically pleasing to watch. Bissett wears a floral sweater over a white, collared shirt. He pairs this with dark green pants, and that outfit combined with the greenery of the gorgeous landscape creates this soft, calm, visually appealing video.

Bissett’s Rise to a Record Deal and More
Aidan Bissett, like many other rising musicians, started cultivating his following on TikTok. In 2020, while at home due to the pandemic, he posted videos for musical exposure and support. He released three songs that year: “Different,” “Worst Girls Of All Time,” and “More Than Friends.”
Furthermore, according to Gabrielle Calise at Tampa Bay Times, in addition to making TikToks, he also sent snippets of his songs to Capitol Records. Back then, Bissett was still a student at Tampa’s Jesuit High School. Imagine his surprise when Capitol Records liked what they heard and added him to their list of signed artists. The record company put out Bissett’s newest single at the time—“Communication.”
In the interview with Tampa Bay Times, the young artist recounts his shock when he heard from the record company.
“Next thing I know, I have the executive vice president of Capitol Records sitting on this Zoom and I’m like, ‘Wait a second…this wasn’t supposed to be real.’”
Lollapalooza
Not only did Capitol Records release his song “Communications,” they also planned to support him in terms of marketing, sales, and touring.
Now, Aidan Bissett has since been on tour with indie pop band Valley across the U.S. He is also performing at Lollapalooza this August alongside headliners Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
