Daddy Yankee has returned to the spotlight with a brand new smashing reggaeton hit, ‘Problema’. The single comes three months after his collaboration with Mark Anthony in salsa hit ‘De Vuelta Pa’ La Vuelta.’
Daddy Yankee Disappeared From Instagram
Three days before the release date, the reggaeton star started teasing his fans on social media. “Say hi those who are ready for the ‘PROBLEMA’!!! #DYARMY,” he posted on Instagram. A few hours later, the singer’s Instagram account was deactivated. He then posted on Twitter, “The only things that die out of the reggaeton are the artists and producers, exclude me of that. I’m all in for the #Problema #dyarmy.”
On release night, he finally came back to Instagram and announced, “Stay calm, the reggaeton boss is here. 11:59 pm #PROBLEMA”. His fans immediately went crazy as they were wondering what the singer was talking about in previous posts. The mystery had finally gotten solved.

‘Problema’ (which translates to “Problem”,) is an energetic one spreading an extraordinary positive vibe across the world. The music video is directed by Marlon P. It features a group of masked men with a number of choreographed dancers accompanying him on the set. The music video brings out the intensity and the exuberance of the song with total accuracy.
The track features a tantalizing rhythmic flow that manages to amplify the dynamic vocal of the artist. The power-packed singing, especially in the chorus takes the track to the next level. ‘Problema’ is also very special to Daddy Yankee. He touches on the struggles he faced last year during the pandemic.
