Singer-songwriter Clairo announced that her upcoming UK and European tour set to start in January has been pushed back until September 2022.
Clairo’s UK/Europe Tour Gets Pushed Back From January to September
Clairo initially announced her upcoming tour back in September. The 8-date UK and Europe tour was meant to kick off on January 10 in Bristol, UK; and come to an end on January 23 in London, UK. But now, due to recent spikes in Covid-19 and the Omicron variant; the musician has made the decision to push back the tour, so everyone can feel safer when it’s time for her to come to their country.
“I reeeeally hate to do this; but we have decided to reschedule the upcoming January Europe/UK tour,” Clairo announced on Instagram. “As much as we want to get back on the road, everybody’s safety is far more important & I hope you understand. Please hold on to your tickets if you already bought them. They are 100% valid for the rescheduled shows in September-October. Refunds are possible by contacting the website where you got your ticket (Ticketmaster, Ticketweb, etc)
But it’s not all bad news for her fans. Clairo announced the new rescheduled dates will include more stops on the tour and new cities. “Good news: We’ve upgraded our venue in Paris, added shows in Amsterdam and Brussels, and released more tickets for Birmingham. All updated info is on the website (clairo.com). Stay safe and we can’t wait to bring this show to you all next year.” Support act Jonah Yano will still join the musician on the road for the new shows.

Her US Tour is Still On
At the moment, Clairo is still scheduled to start her tour over the US and Canada this March and April. The exclusive 6-date tour will have the indie artist travel to Toronto, ON, Chicago, IL, and her hometown of Atlanta, GA. Arlo Parks will join her as support on those dates.
Clairo’s 2022 tour dates will be in support of her latest album Sling, which was released in July 2021. The star worked with producer Jack Antonoff on the record, crafting a piece of work that recalled classic 70s singer-songwriters and Laurel Canyon folk, and explored her feelings around domesticity and identity.
