Carly Rae Jepsen is Back Again with Another Hit—”Shy Boy”

Pop artist Carly Rae Jepsen has just released her newest dance pop single, “Shy Boy.”

Carly Rae Jepsen and Her “Shy Boy”

Carly Rae Jepsen is in love with her “Shy Boy.” The singer has just released her newest single, which fans are hoping means an album is in the works.

“Shy Boy” is a fun, funky pop song with elements of electro pop, disco, and dance. The bass line drives the single, as most of it has a pretty chill vibe. Jepsen’s vocals are spot on as always. Her voice is high, light, playful, and sexy as she sings about loving her shy boy.

Jepsen debuted the song at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, only a few days ago. Check out her Instagram post documenting her time at the festival below.

The official visualizer for the song paints the perfect picture of what the song means to her. The grainy, black and white video looks like an old film. It follows Jepsen on a date with her shy boy. Watch it below.

Lollapalooza, NYC, LA, and More

Carly Rae Jepsen takes the stage at Lollapalooza this August. She’s had summer performances already, and is set to have many more.

On June 3rd, she performed at the Ashbury Park Pride Party. This Wednesday, she kicks off her So Nice Japan tour at Yokohama. She then spends the rest of June and the beginning of July in Japan, closing out her tour on July 6th at Fukuoka.

After her performance at Lollapalooza, Jepsen spends August 7th and 8th in New York City at Pier 17 with Poolside. Then, she goes to Los Angeles for a performance at The Bellwether with Harvey Sutherland on the 11th and the 12th. On her Instagram post announcing the stages, the poster for the performances includes words that fans think hint at a b-side to an upcoming album. The words are: “Anything to be with you.”
