BTS have recently announced a venue change for their October Busan concert.
The Concert Venue Change
Hybe Corporation has announced that BTS’ October Busan concert will be now held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium. The concert’s original venue was the Busan Ilgwang Special Stage. According to the press statement, they made the change to “ensure that the focus remains on the performance’s main purpose, which is to promote the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.”
Hybe continued their statement, saying, “While the venue has changed, we remain dedicated to the vision and we will still be holding the other events related to the concert as planned. We will be holding LIVE PLAY at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal Outdoor Parking Lot so that the audience gathered there can watch the concert live on a large screen and experience the performance up-close. The concert will also be streamed online for everyone around the world to get in on the excitement of the performance, and we have even more events coming around Busan to keep the spirit of the concert alive.”
BTS “Yet To Come” In Busan
The concert is partly to promote Busan’s bid for the 2030 World Expo. As BTS were named the Busan Ambassadors, they’re going to be involved in promotional activities and advocate for Busan as the next location for the World Expo.
Since the concert is to promote Busan, Hybe is making it as accessible as possible. For the concertgoers who will be at Busan in person, the concert will be mostly free. Buying a ticket will cost nothing, but there will be a registration fee. More information about tickets and the new venue seating will be released soon.
Fans are super excited they can also watch the concert via livestream. The fans who aren’t able to travel to Busan are especially grateful. The boys’ performance will be watchable everywhere on their Weverse Live.
The BTS “Yet to Come” in Busan concert will be held on October 15th at 6pm KST/5am ET.
