Rising country trap sensation Blanco Brown is making carbonated waves with his first road outing: his Monster Energy Outbreak tour! Debuting this fall, here’s everything you need to know about this tour and about this influential artist!
A Renowned Boundary-Breaking Producer
Before doing his own act, Blanco Brown honed and perfected his craft in music production and engineering. As a Grammy-nominated music engineer, Blanco Brown has worked with numerous big-name artists such as Childish Gambino, Kane Brown (who just released a new album), Chris Brown, and Pit Bull, producing and mastering their music.
Blanco Brown has spent nearly a decade creating his own unique sound, combining a Coming from Georgia, Blanco Brown blends a southern country feel with hip-hop and street lingo. Growing up in both rural and urban environments, Blanco Brown makes his music soundly his own, dubbing his unique style as “TrailerTrap.” He achieves this blend of styles by contrasting his multi-instrumental knowledge in guitar, harmonia, lap steel, and tambourine with a traditional hip-hop beat and groove. Citing the lyrical masters Johnny Cash and Outkast as his influences, he desires to not only create funky music, but to also be able to tell a story through his music.
A Successful Debut
Blanco Brown’s debut album, “Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs” was extremely successful, with the song “The Git Up” reaching astronomical popularity. In 2019, this song would go viral on Tik Tok and inspire its own challenge, “The Git Up Challenge.” The song would eventually be certified Platinum 11 times and claim the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Blanco Brown would hit No. 1 on country charts yet again the same year with “Just the Way” as a featured vocalist on Parmalee’s Platinum-certified track.
However, due to a near-fatal car accident in late 2020, Brown has been on a difficult road to recovery. Yet, despite his hardship, Brown still leans on creating music, impressively still releasing 3 singles over a two year interim period. Brown resilience is extremely inspiring, and just makes his latest tour project that much more impressive.
His First Headlining Tour
In August, Blanco Brown announced that he would be headlining in the Monster Energy Outbreak tour, one of the countries’ largest touring brands.
