Right after dropping her first album, American R&B singer/songwriter and producer Alex Vaughn, comes back with her holiday single, “Christmas Come Home.”
‘The Hurtbook’
2022 was an incredible year for American emerging R&B singer-songwriter Alex Vaughn. The artist has, in fact, released her debut album, The Hurtbook. Following the release of fans’ favorite singles “Mirage” and “Talkin,” Vaughn dropped her first full-length album in collaboration with Rodney Jerkins, Camper and DJ Money. Further, the album was released via Love Renaissance (LVRN)/ Interscope Records.
Notably, the album includes eight unique pieces, including the artist’s most played hits “So Be It,” “Mirage” and “Talkin.”
‘Christmas Come Home Vol. 2’
It has always been common that artists of all kinds do not miss the opportunity to jump on the Christmas song trend, and Alex Vaughn is no less. And so, two months after the release of her debut album, in December, Vaughn returned with the holiday single “Christmas Come Home.”
The song belongs to the Love Renaissance(LVRN)’s new Christmas project, Home For The Holidays Vol. 2. Actually, the record label includes among others, Summer Walker, DRAM, 6LACK, and Alex Vaughn. All these artists joined the production of the holiday record, appearing with a single each. In total, the participating artists were 11 for as many singles. However, only four of the songs are new, the others being remakes of the first volume of the label’s record, Home For The Holidays.
Alex Vaughn joined the record label at the beginning of the year. With them, she also released her first single, “Mirage.” The song went viral and gave the singer a ticket to success. To date, “Mirage” is still Vaughn’s most famous and listened single, with 3.5 millions plays on Spotify and almost a million views on YouTube.
