Wild Truth’s career is taking off. The alternative rock band has been around since 2017 and have steadily grown their fanbase. Now, Open Your Ears Records has joined in on the musical phenomenon.Last week Wild Truth announced that they signed with Open Your Ears Records. The small, but mighty label has only four other bands on their roster. This means that Wild Truth is going to get all the attention and effort that they deserve. Although, they are striving to be as creative as ever before regardless of their label signing. In a press release, the Virginia based band discussed their new partnership with Open Your Ears. “OYE has given us an opportunity to reach new heights with our music and we are very grateful for the opportunity. Working together has been a pleasure and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”With time on their hands and a new team behind them, Wild Truth is gearing up for a whole new era. The rockers just dropped a brand new single titled, “No Filter,” alongside a music video. This song comes ahead of their debut EP, Drift.
“No Filter” and More!
After years of dropping singles, the band is preparing for a mini record release. It is coming to streaming services on April 2. Less than a month away! The band consists of Nick Gargiulo on vocals and guitar, Will Beasley on bass, and Clayton Sargent on drums. They are all getting so excited for their debut EP and the expansion of their musical catalog. It’s genre bending, fun, and emotional all at once – something few bands outside of Wallows have mastered.“Drift is about reflection and navigating the path to individuality in such a polarizing environment. ’No Filter’ was the first song we wrote for the EP. It came together really organically and we wanted to have a song that made you want to dance and cry at the same time.”The music video that dropped with the lead single embodies that flawlessly. There are nostalgic clips of home movies, scenes underwater, and live concert footage. Wild Truth threw everything they are good at in a blender and this video appeared. It’s magical and musical, setting the perfect stage for Drift on April 2.
