Fans consider this deluxe album to be a bridge between the new and the old. Through his lyrics and music videos, we see that these works were key in shaping the original. The beats and musicality utilizes his ’80s synth-punk and breezy soulfulness. If we pay attention, we see the young rapper is giving us context into his 2019 album. In a way, knowing the history changes the album and makes it seem brand new.
