Tyler’s Unreleased Singles Shape CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
Tyler’s new deluxe album, the estate sale version, is 1 hour and 17 minutes long with 24 tracks. Originally, Tyler announced his new album on Twitter. Following this announcement, he surprised fans by dropping “DOGTOOTH” and a portion of the music video. As it stands now, “DOGTOOTH” is the second most-listened-to track in his discography, coming in at 21 million streams. The album consists of features from popular artists like Lil Uzi, A$AP Rocky, Brent Faiyaz, and Lil Wayne.

Fans consider this deluxe album to be a bridge between the new and the old. Through his lyrics and music videos, we see that these works were key in shaping the original. The beats and musicality utilizes his ’80s synth-punk and breezy soulfulness. If we pay attention, we see the young rapper is giving us context into his 2019 album. In a way, knowing the history changes the album and makes it seem brand new.
