Rising British alt-pop artist Thomas Headon unveiled his latest single “How Do I Know,” following up to “Strawberry Kisses.”
A First Date Inspired “How Do I Know?”
Thomas’ new tune, “How Do I Know?” comes accompanied by a live video reminiscent of 2000s garage bands, and sees Thomas perform in his backyard on a sunny day with his band while wondering how he will know when he has found “the one.”
“I think I’m gonna marry this girl tonight. Second dates always seem to be my last ones. Said I loved her after half a glass of wine. Think that this is gonna be my last one,” Thomas sings in the opening verse.
Thomas expanded on the track, adding, “I wrote ‘How Do I Know’ after going on a first date. It’s basically a song about questioning whether you’re in love with someone or whether it’s just an in-the-moment feeling lol. It was written back in Australia when I was home for the summer. I think it’s super bright and fun for that reason and makes me glad I’m starting off the year by releasing this. It’s one of the first songs I made off this EP and definitely one of my favorites.”
New Album & New Tour
Thomas is gearing up for the release of his upcoming EP Victoria, coming out on March 11. The 7-song EP will include some songs that Thomas has been sharing within the past couple of months like “Nobody Has To Know” and the newly-released “How Do I Know?”; as well as unreleased tracks like “Breakfast” and “The Most Beautiful Thing.”
Thomas also recently announced his first-ever North American headline tour. The exclusive 8-date tour kicks off on March 24 at New York City’s Mercury Lounge and wraps up on April 6 at Echo in Los Angeles, CA.
