The Jonas Brothers Fly Away With New Single “Wings”

The moment that all jonatics had been waiting for for four years is finally here. Their favorite band, Jonas Brothers, has released a new single to mark the start of a new musical era. “Wings” arrives as the band’s first song since 2021, with “Who’s In Your Head” releasing in September of that year.

THE ALBUM Arrives This May

A few weeks ago, the Jonas Brothers announced that their new album – literally titled THE ALBUM is going to be out this May. Originally, the release date was set for May 5th, but it has since been pushed back one week to May 12th. Hey, we won’t complain unless it’s another full year! So, for now, all is good in the jonatic world.

“Wings” is a pretty short song – just under 2 minutes long. Regardless, the vibe that it offers gives us a great idea for what we can expect for the rest of the LP. It’s sweet, elegant, and shiny all at the same time. Also, with its funky sound, it makes us want to dance and sing along immediately.

Singer, songwriter, and producer Jon Bellion jumped in to work on the song as executive producer. “‘Wings’ is the perfect start to this new chapter for us,” the Jonas Brothers commented. “Working with Jon pushed us to explore our artistry in a way we never have before. The song is a great first taste of that creative exploration and what’s to come with THE ALBUM.”

Haley Lu Richardson Stars in the “Wings” Video

If you watch the music video, you might be familiar with its protagonist. It’s none other than White Lotus actress Haley Lu Richardson! She has been a Jonas Brothers fan since she was a teenager, so this collab is simply perfect. Also, last December, she totally had a fangirl moment when she was a guest in The Late Late Show With James Corden, when James FaceTimed Nick so he could talk to Haley. Go watch her reaction below!

The Jonas Brothers Are Playing Their Old Albums in New York City

But “Wings” wasn’t the only surprise that the Jonas Brothers gave fans this past Friday. In the morning, they announced that they will take over New York City this March to play shows for 5 exclusive nights. Every night from March 14-18, the brothers will perform the songs from one specific album that marked their careers. We’re talking their debut Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times, Happiness Begins, as well as wrapping up the dates with a preview of The Album. So, if you’re a Jonas Brothers fan and want to hear all of their classic oldies in one place one more time, this is the time to do so. All information and tickets are available at jonasbrothers.com
