For the 2022 Grammy Awards, Swift earned a nomination for the album of the year award for her album, Evermore. However, that was the only nomination she got this year and her fans think that she deserves more. Many of them took their frustration to Twitter to express how they feel about all of this. While they’re happy that the nomination is for one of the highest honors, none of this makes sense to them. But if Swift wins, this will be her fourth time winning album of the year. Not only that, but this could end up as the second time she’s won album of the year in alternative music. In previous years she won album of the year in country for Fearless, pop for 1989, and alternative for Folklore. Therefore she has won album of the year in three different genres.

There is no doubt that Taylor Swift is one of the most popular singer-songwriters in the world. However, many people think of her as overrated, making her a major controversy in the music industry. Perhaps part of the reason why she has only one nomination this year is for the purpose of making room for other artists who haven’t accomplished as much as she has. Winning album of the year once could be enough for some people. After all, album of the year is one of the most impressive Grammys to win of all the categories. That award demonstrates that the winner of it created a huge impact on the industry during the previous year.
