Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Went Global This Year

International Swifties… were you ready for it? Taylor finally brought her Eras Tour overseas!

On Friday, June 2, Taylor announced that the Eras Tour was touching down in Latin America later that summer. In an excited Instagram post, she wrote:

“Really thrilled to tell you this!! Mexico, Argentina and Brazil: We are bringing The Eras Tour to you this year! Sweet angel princess @sabrinacarpenter will be joining us on all of the shows!”

Starting August 24th, fans could catch Taylor Swift performing in Mexico City’s Foro Sol for four consecutive nights. After her run in Mexico, she took a short break before returning to the stage in November. These fall shows included three performances at the Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, followed by two shows in Rio de Janeiro and three more in São Paulo. For Latin American fans, this announcement came with insurmountable excitement. Taylor hasn’t performed for international fans for quite some time, and they had been anxiously awaiting news of the Eras Tour coming to their home countries. Now, the wait is finally over. And this year is merely the beginning of the international dates for Taylor…

The Eras Tour Takeover: What’s in Store for 2024

As if the excitement for Latin American fans wasn’t enough, Taylor went on to announce even MORE international dates. While the Brazil shows wrap up the Eras Tour run for 2023, there’s still much in store for next year.

Taylor is kicking off the Eras Tour takeover in 2024 in Tokyo, Japan, from February 7th to the 10th. She is slated to then perform in Melbourne and Syndey in Australia later that month. The tour continues on, reaching places around the world like Singapore to Sweden to nine performances in the United Kingdom.
