Swedish House Mafia Returns with “Paradise Again”

A loud return is the one of the Swedish band Swedish House Mafia. After years of silence, the band returns to the big public with great news that gave goosebumps to the most avid fans and, let’s be honest, even to those who only know the hit Don’t You Worry Child. Soundtrack of our 2012, the band returns 10 years after the success not only with the announced participation in the one and only Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022, but also with a new album.

Paradise Again

“Paradise Again” is Swedish House Mafia’s latest album. The album arrives ten years after the full-of-anthems compilation as well as only release “Until Now.” However, the group released only one single, 2021 It Gets Better, since 2012.

17 tracks of long-missed techno music, the album shines with the talent of the trio and incredible collaborations. All the artists that joined the band in this album come from different sides and time of music, making the album a great, multicoloured mix of genres and influences. The dark sound is the connector and common line in Paradise Again.

Among the others, the long awaited collaboration with A$AP Rocky in Frankenstein shines. Rapping bars over a suspended and tension filled base make the song.

Another collaboration that strikes our attention is the one with ex Police frontman and icon of rock music, Sting. The artist collaborates with the band in the song Redlight. The song represents a return to the Swedish House Mafia we used to see in 2010, with a sound that only the Swedish trio can create. In the song, from Police’s Roxanne, is also present. The forever remembered verse:

“You don’t have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don’t have to sell your body to the night”

Redlight was released as a single.

Last but not least, Moth To A Flame welcomes pop icon The Weeknd.

Also Ty Dolla $ign, 070 Shake, Connie Constance, Mapei, Seinabo Sey and others joined the band in the record.
