In late August, the dominating St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red announced her first headlining tour: Hood Hottest Princess Tour.
Sexyy Red Headlines Hood Hottest Princess Tour
Continuing the momentum from her June mixtape Hood Hottest Princess with viral earworms “Pound Town” and “SkeeYee,” Sexyy Red announces a headlining tour this fall. Firstly, the budding MC kicks off the 20-date trek on October 16 in Boston, for a six-week roundabout of U.S. shows. Secondly, she ventures onto cities like New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Nashville and her hometown St. Louis. Then, after shows in Nashville, Orlando and Houston, she closes the tour in San Francisco on November 29.
Last week, Sexyy dropped her highly anticipated single “Shake Yo Dreads” after teasing a snippet while live on Instagram. Of course, the internet rapidly caught wind of the catchy trap banger. And so, this could hint at a possible deluxe version of Hood Hottest Princess arriving in the near future.
Importantly, Hood Hottest Princess Tour will support her June debut mixtape. The raunchy mixtape, full of captivating viral hits, solidified Sexyy Red as one of 2023’s most promising stars. Not only did Drake invite her on the It’s All A Blur Tour for select dates, but they also have a collaboration rumored to be on his new album For All The Dogs. As of recent, Lil Durk jumped on a remix of Sexyy Red’s bubbling hit track “Hellcats SRTs.” Now, in her first year as a mainstream artist, the rapper has had consistent hit songs and is selling out arenas on her headlining tour.
