As announced by the the movie crew, “My Mind & Me” will narrate the life of the pop singer behind the curtains. It will take us through her journey, starting from young success, to her growth both as an actress and a singer, arriving to the narration of her life today. The documentary will focus especially on the psychological and personal side of Selena Gomez’ story.
The official announcement mentions:
“After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”

In detail, Alek Keshishian is the director and producer of “My Mind And Me.” Other producers include Zack Morgenroth, Michelle An, Katherine LeBlond, Stephanie Meurer and Caitlin Daley.
Selena Gomez Is Ready To Return
After a period of pause, Selena Gomez is ready to return with new music. The documentary is in fact the anticipation of the singer’s upcoming huge comeback. Awaited but many, the singer announced new songs and even the possibility of a tour.
“I just finished Season 4 of my cooking show [Selena + Chef], and I am in L.A. working on my album now,” she said. Selena Gomez also added: “I am open to a tour, 1,000 percent. But I obviously have obligations and things that I want to do, so, when the time’s right. It’s not the top of my priority list.”

According to The Wrap, “My Mind & Me” is set to premiere at the American Film Institute Festival in Los Angeles on Nov 2nd, 2022. AFI president and CEO Bob Gazzale said that “AFI is proud to launch AFI Fest 2022 with ‘Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me,’ a film as profoundly powerful as it is personal.”
