Selena Gomez Drops ‘Baila Conmigo’ Teasing New Album “Revelación”

Selena Gomez has proved to us that isn’t only a queen of pop music, but also Latin. Showing off her Spanish skills, she dropped the new single ‘Baila Conmigo’ as a tease for her upcoming Spanish EP ‘Revelación,’ coming on March 12.

Teasing Revelación With ‘Baila Conmigo’ and ‘De Una Vez’

Prior to the release of ‘Baila Conmigo,’ Selena dropped the first single off the EP ‘De Una Vez’. It wasn’t until she announced on Instagram the new song, “Baila Conmigo 💃🏻 con @RauwAlejandro y @tainy disponible el 29 de enero. Presave ahora. // Baila Conmigo with Rauw Alejandro and Tainy is out January 29th. Presave Now.” That was announced that she was also dropping the EP. “REVELACIÓN, mi primer EP en español, estará disponible el 12 de marzo. Pre-ordénalo mañana a las 9 pm PT. // REVELACIÓN, my first ever Spanish EP, is out March 12. Preorder it tomorrow at 9 pm PT”. She has been posting in both English and Spanish, to get Spanish-speaking fans more involved in the new project.

Selena is Proud of her Heritage

According to Billboard’s Jessica Roiz, Gomez told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe how proud she was about her venture into a Spanish-language album. “This has been something I’ve wanted to do for 10 years. Working on a Spanish project, because I’m so, so proud of my heritage. I just genuinely felt like I wanted this to happen,” Gomez said. “And it happened, and I feel like it’s the perfect timing. Just with all the division in the world, there’s something about Latin music that globally just makes people feel things, you know?”

“With ‘Baila Conmigo,’ I want to get everyone dancing,” Selena said in a press release. “The video portrays the sense of isolation we all are experiencing right now and how music truly does connect us all no matter where we are in the world.” Producer Tainy added: “It was a really interesting song for me to work on with Selena since it fuses an authentic reggaeton sound with elements like the plucked electric guitar that lean more pop. Rauw’s melodies captured that essence and complemented Selena’s very well. I’m excited for this one!” Rauw Alejandro added “The fact an artist of Selena’s caliber considered me to collaborate on her project is a blessing. ‘Baila Conmigo’ is super catchy and sexy. I hope fans love this collaboration as much as I do.”

‘Baila Conmigo’ translates to ‘Dance With Me,’ and it’s definitely a song that makes you want to get up and dance.
