Sam Smith and Summer Walker Release Their New Single “You Will Be Found”

Sam Smith and Summer Walker make an iconic duo singing the new single “You Will Be Found.” One of the latest songs from the Dear Evan Hansen Soundtrack.  Earlier this week SZA also released a song for this movie. Looks like this movie will have amazing music!

The two artists are two of the best voices of our times

Atlanta-born singer and songwriter Summer Walker and the vocal stand-out Sam Smith collaborated on the cover of the song. The four time Grammy winner, Sam Smith is one of the most talented and genuine vocalist of our time. Famous for her 2018 songs “Girls need love” and “Playing Games,” Summer Walker helps deliver this single.

The song made the soundtrack for Stephen Chbosky’s upcoming film Dear Evan Hansen

The acclaimed filmmaker Stephen Chbosky is the director of 20201 “Dear Evan Hansen.”  He is famous for his successful “The Perks of Being A Wallflower” (2012), “The Beauty and the Beast” (2017) and “Wonder” (2017). Universal Pictures made an adaptation of the homonymous Broadway musical.

Steven Levenson, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul were the authors of the Tony and Grammy Awards winning musical. Pasek and Paul wrote both the music and the lyrics of all the timeless tracks of the musical.  The soundtrack will also present a new song, entitled “The Anonymous Ones“, written in collaboration with Amandla Stenberg and performed by SZA.

The movie, premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9th and released in theatres on September 24th, is a Musical Teen Drama starring Ben Platt in the title role. The movie features themes such as loneliness, love and friendship.

Sam Smith and Summer Walker’s song plays both during a scene and during the closing credits of the film.

The soundtrack of the movie also includes popular artists SZA, Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Finneas and Tori Kelly.
