2024’s Welcome to Rockville Festival is taking place at Daytona Speedway. The metal and rock festival signed on Foo Fighters, Limp Bizkit, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot and more as headliners.
Mötley Crüe commented on their first appearance at the festival.
“We couldn’t be more excited to come back to Florida. Welcome To Rockville is one of the biggest festivals in the world, and it’s going to be a highlight for us in 2024.”
Chamie McCurry, chief marketing officer of the festival producer, Danny Wimmer Presents, said the following.
“2024 marks an exciting year for us as we have our biggest lineup ever with over 150 bands (50 more than in 2023),” McCurry said. “We’ll be welcoming Mötley Crüe to the Rockville community for the first time, celebrating 25 years of Slipknot, 50 years of Judas Priest, the return of Foo Fighters, and so many more must-see moments!”
Last year, the Foo Fighters headlined the festival, back in 2022. That same year, Danny Wimmer discussed the festival’s impact.
“Welcome to Rockville this past November was truly incredible. Our new home, Daytona International Speedway, welcomed us with open arms and our fans showed up in record numbers and experienced an unforgettable weekend,” Wimmer said. “We knew we needed to up the ante in 2022, so we went and booked the biggest lineup that has ever been booked for an American rock festival. We are so excited to welcome the biggest names in rock for one epic weekend this May.”
This four-day festival in Daytona Beach takes place from May 9th through May 12th, 2024. Additional performers include Greta Van Fleet, JellyRoll, Evanescence and Queens of the Stone Age.
