Each year, Forbes releases a list of the most affluent women from the likes of musicians to software developers to fashion designers. Here’s a run-down on who made the list this year.
Who Runs the World?
Coming in at number 48, Beyoncé graces Forbes’ list of richest self-made women thanks to her wide array of skills and talents. After releasing her 2023 album, “RENAISSANCE,” the singer has gone on to perform on her world tour beginning back in May in Stockholm, Sweden. Her tour is set to continue on throughout Europe before landing in America in July.
In addition to her expansive solo discography, Beyoncé’s net worth is also affected by her past membership in the iconic trio, Destiny’s Child. This has resulted in her net worth reaching an impressive $540 million. All in all, it comes as no surprise that Queen Bee has graced Forbes’s list. After all, it’s not good looks alone that win you 32 Grammy’s.
Taylor Swift Is In Her Forbes Era
Taylor Swift’s place on the Forbes richest women list is actually a tie. Ranked at number 34, Swift shares her placement with Lisa Su, CEO of a semiconductor firm, Advanced Micro Devices. Like Beyoncé, Taylor’s rank is largely contributed to her highly successful albums and tours, like her current Eras Tour. She’s won 10 Grammy’s so far in her career, along with over 70 other accolades and achievements. This makes her one of the most decorated female musicians in history. Therefore, these successes put Swift’s net worth at a whopping $740 million. And as if Taylor weren’t already legendary on her own, ranking this high on the Forbes list at the young age of 33 only further emphasizes her impact and success thus far.
Rihanna Knows How to Work (x6)
On the top half of Forbes’ list is Rihanna at number 20. With a networth of over $1 billion, Rihanna tapped into a lucrative industry of beauty and cosmetics that gave her enough edge to surpass Swift and Beyonce- by a long-shot. Like the other aforementioned music legends, Rihanna also has many awards to her name. All three women are known for being queens of their respective genres, and rightfully so. With Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty backing her impressive discography, Rihanna is undoubtedly a major player in the music industry. And to top it all off? Her Super Bowl performance this year alone wracked in over 121 million viewers. Rihanna shines bright like the diamonds she sings about. She may be 20th on the list this year, but there’s no doubt she’ll continue to climb the ranks with her acclaimed success.
