Singer-songwriter Mikael Temrowski, better known by his stage name Quinn XCII, released his newest single “The Lows.”
The People’s Champ Is Out On January 27
“The Lows” previews Quinn XCII’s new upcoming album The People’s Champ, coming out on January 27. It will be the follow-up to 2020’s Change of Scenery II. So far, he’s already revealed some of the songs that will compose the 12-track LP, including “Common,” “Backpack,” and “Let Me Down” featuring Chelsea Cutler.
“The Lows” Help Us See A Brighter Future
Following the route of Quinn XCII’s trademark, upbeat sound, “The Lows” takes us on a ride along all the important moments of our life. In the song, he mentions how it’s key for us to experience both good and bad circumstances. Further, the experiences are necessary in order to grow then as individuals. Because, in the end, we can’t have it all at once. “’Cause you can’t have the sun without the moon,” he sings.
In addition Quinn XCII explains to Prelude Press, “As a society, we only celebrate the high moments of our lives, and we don’t value the lows.” “I’ve come to a place of accepting everything in a neutral way and understanding situations shape us how we’re meant to be shaped. I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason. The highest moments wouldn’t be so sweet without the shitty moments that bring you back down to earth. It’s about understanding life is a dance of positive and negative and not getting too frustrated when things are going poorly or too cocky when things are going well. Take it day by day.”
