Utah’s largest hip-hop commemoration, HIVE Music Festival, returns to Salt Lake City on June 9-10, 2023. With world class acts from rap music today, the two-day event gathers a total of 27 artists. HIVE Music Festival partners with C3 Presents, which is the force behind notable music festivals like Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, ACL, and more.
HIVE Festival Headliners
Held at Utah State Fairpark, the HIVE Festival headliners include 9-time diamond-certified artist Post Malone and 7-time Grammy-winning singer/rapper Kid Cudi. Both artists maintain longevity, topping charts with nearly every release for over seven years now. In 2022, Post Malone released his fourth album Twelve Carat Toothache, and earlier this month, a new single titled “Chemical.” Likewise, Kid Cudi released a new LP Entergalactic in September of last year.
Big Sean, Denzel Curry, GloRilla And More
Another recognizable artist on the lineup for HIVE Festival is the innovative hit-maker Joji. The 30-year-old, born in Osaka, Japan, forms a unique blend of lo-fi and trip-hop with components of R&B, trap, folk, and electronic. If you scrolled through TikTok last year, you definitely heard his woeful smash hit “Glimpse Of Us.”
But with a central focus on hip-hop, HIVE Festival features stellar performances by beloved rappers Big Sean, Denzel Curry, GloRilla, Joey Bada$$, and more. TikTok-viral “BILLIE EILISH” rapper Armani White and standout rookie Nardo Wick will also take the stage. Additionally, HIVE Festival caters to R&B lovers with performances from Blxst and Thuy as well as rap producers Murda Beatz and The Alchemist, who will keep the party going with fantastic DJ sets.
