Post Animal, The Group You Wouldn’t Expect

Post Animal is an American psychedelic rock act from Chicago, IL. The band includes the five members Dalton Allison, Jake Hirshland, Javi Reyes, Wesley Toledo and Matt Williams. The band started playing together in 2014. Back then, Stranger Things actor Joe Keery was part of the band as well. as his acting career prevailed over that of a musician, the artist broke away from the band and in 2019 he definitively left the group.

Three guitarists, one bassist and a drummer, the five members all share songwriting contributions. Each one of the members sing lead vocals on their respective compositions, bringing diversity and originality to each of their work.

Aging Forest

Arrogant, aggressive and vigorous, “Aging Forest” is Post Animal’s latest single and powerful comeback since their previous album, 2022’s Love Gibberish. Reaching melodic lines that could be associated with the strength of metal with its loud guitars and solos, as well as alternative rock on the forceful chords and rhythmic drums.

“Aging Forest” recalls their previous work in Post Animal Perform the Most Curious Water Activities. In this way, Post Animal creates a bridge between their past discography and their upcoming album, anticipating it with the single itself.

To advertise and promote their upcoming release, the band just finished touring North America with the American band, Temples. Make sure to find all the information for future dates and more here!
