SOMETHING IN THE WATER
“See you in Virginia Beach for SOMETHING IN THE WATER presented by @walmart April 28-30!,” begins the official announcement of Pharrell Williams’ festival, SOMETHING IN THE WATER.
Among other festivals, SOMETHING IN THE WATER is one of those you can’t lose! Over the course of three days, more than 50 artists will perform on the stage of Virginia Beach, VA. Walmart will present the festival.

The official lineup includes artists Kehlani, Skrillex, Summer Walker and The Kid Laroi.
Rappers Aminé, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Machine Gun Kelly and Wu-Tang Clan will be part of the event as well. Moreover, among “Pharrell’s friends” there are also the following acts:
100 Gecs, Ayra Starr, Babyface Ray, BadBadNotGood, Black Sherif, Chika, Clipse, Coi Leray, d4vd, Doechii, Feid, Flo, Flo Milli, gigi, Grace Jones, Jay Pharoah, Jazmine Sullivan, Jessie Murph, Kamasi Washington, KayCyy, Kaytranada, Kenny Beats, Kitty Ca$h, Latto, Lil Durk, Maren Morris, Masego, Mumford & Sons, Nile Rodgers & Chic, NLE Choppa, Polo G, Remi Wolf, Riovaz, Saucy Santana, SWV, UMI, Wale, Weston Estate, Wet Leg, Yendry, yvngxchris.
However, SOMETHING IN THE WATER’s lineup was harshly criticised since it was released. In fact, according to multiple fans’ opinion, it isn’t the strongest and possibly it could’ve been better. Some even commented the announcement saying:
““presented by Walmart” target would’ve gave us Drake”
“ain’t nothing in the water”
On the other hand, others think the acts performing are more than enough for a festival to be great and entertain the public.
