In a series of tweets, Machine Gun Kelly announced that there will be plenty of new music coming from him this year, as he plans to drop two new albums.
Machine Gun Kelly: Rapper-Turned-Punk Star
Machine Gun Kelly turned into a full pop-punk star back in 2020 with the release of his hit album Tickets To My Downfall, which included the highly-popular songs “forget me too” featuring Halsey, and “my ex’s best friend” featuring blackbear.
But last year, in August, he teased the start of a new era with the release of his new single “papercuts,” which serves as the lead single for his upcoming Travis Barker-produced sixth studio album, Born With Horns. As for now, the album is expected to arrive in March this year.
He Teased Two Albums This Year
Last year, Machine Gun Kelly teased that he would be releasing new music in the early days of 2022. “The second you open your eyes and it’s 2022, you’ll have something to listen to,” he said. However, on December 31, he updated the information in a new tweet. “I know the rumor was I was dropping New Year’s Eve but… see you in 2022,” he wrote. Then, on January 2, he added, “Two albums this year.”
