Indie-pop band lovelytheband announced the launch of their new record label, happy accident, in partnership with Vydia.
happy accident Marks a New Chapter For lovelytheband
Lovelytheband are joining other stars like Zara Larsson in creating their own record labels. The band is known for their success on singles like their debut “broken.” You can call the track a hit after spending nine weeks at number one on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart. The double-platinum selling track remained on the chart for seventy six weeks. Therefore, it was their longest running entry at the time.
The new music technology company will provide lovelytheband and their team the infrastructure and tools to power the label. In other words, it is complete with a full suite of services. Vydia wil direct the audio & video supply chain and oversee global distribution. Some other services include analytics, rights management, detailed royalty reporting, and more.
The Team Shares Their Thoughts on the Label
On happy accident and this new chapter for the band, lovelytheband vocalist Mitchy Collins shares, “I feel like everything good that has happened in my life has been a happy accident (RIP Bob Ross). I’m eager to help new artists amplify their voice and build their communities.”
