Look Inside Chase B’s “Ring Ring” With Travis Scott, Don Toliver, & More

Chase B Drops First Single From Upcoming Album

Hip-hop DJ and producer Chase B drops the new single “Ring Ring” with star-studded features Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, and Travis Scott.

A rough draft of the long-awaited track was leaked back in June 2021 and did not include singer-songwriter Ty Dolla $ign at first. Last year, Chase B would give confirmation that the unreleased track “Ring Ring” would be part of his first studio album, Escapism.

“Ring Ring”

Co-produced by Chase B and BRYVN, “Ring Ring” rounds up an all-star hip-hop quartet. Don Toliver kicks off the track with some fly raps. “I had two twenty five, I spent that sh*t right out my pocket / And pulled up to that lot and told the dealer ‘I gotta cop it’ /You think you goin’ big-on-big-on-big, you need to stop it.” Then, Quavo flaunts his lady and spoils her with his riches on the second verse. The rapper and his mystery woman make quite the power couple. “Steppin’ out pressin’ (Pressin’) / Baby, you’re a blessin’ (Blessin’) / In the bed, we wrestlin’ / We sendin’ a message (Message) / This is black excellence (Excellence).”

Unfortunately, contributions from Travis Scott and Ty Dolla $ign were short-lived. Scott makes an abrupt appearance and exit with a four line verse on “Ring Ring.” “You were so bad, I couldn’t help it, I couldn’t help myself / I wouldn’t be mad when it’s all over, I did my best / Hello (Hello), I’m callin’ from out of this world (Out of this) / I know you bitter, I’m talkin’ to other girls (Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh).” Lastly, Ty Dolla $ign closes out the track with a 30 second outro. He waits around for his lover to call him, and if she does, he’ll be there for her without hesitation.

Hopefully we see more lyricism and stellar features on Chase B’s forthcoming album.
