Rising country artist Lily Rose shared her latest single. “Know My Way Around” follows up to “Remind Me Of You,” released this summer.

Keep an Eye Out for Lily Rose

Lily Rose has been having a busy year. After getting signed to Big Loud label and Back Blocks Music as her publisher, along with Republic Records as her label’s distributor last year, the country star has been showing us that she is meant to have a spot in the country music scene.

Her single “Villain” blew up last year thanks to TikTok, and it has now surpassed 17 million streams on Spotify as well. This year, she followed the success of last year as she released her single “Overnight Sensation” in April. Almost right afterward, she followed it up with “Remind Me Of You” in May. Now, “Know My Way Around” is Lily’s third single of 2021 as she arrives stronger than ever.

“Know My Way Around” is the Story of How She Met Her Girlfriend

“Know My Way Around” is a song where Lily shares the experience of how she met her girlfriend and what she felt at that moment. “But ever since you walked in. Only thing that I’ve been thinking ’bout is my next move. Then we got to talkin’. Told me that you’re single. Baby, that’s some damn good news. Yeah, the night’s still young. And I got nothin’ else to do. Except maybe catch a buzz. Maybe fall in love. Baby, you can choose. I just wanna know my way around you,” she sings in the chorus.

During an interview with Sounds Like Nashville, Lily shared the meaning of the new song. “When the phrase ‘know my way around’ popped into my head at a video shoot, I immediately wrote it down. I took it into the writing room that same week and Julian Bunetta, Savana Santos, and I wrote it from the perspective of the first time I met my girlfriend, Daira. There’s just something about the chorus and beat that keeps me playing this song on repeat like it’s my first time hearing it!”
