All of Uzi’s Instagram lives during quarantine making music wasn’t for nothing!

During the summertime, Uzi fed their fan’s cravings with the Red & White EP. Real Uzi fans know that Uzi loves to be in the studio making music, sometimes for fun or the entertainment of their followers on Instagram. To get fans excited for Pink Tape, they began to release tracks one by one from the Red & White EP on SoundCloud.

The rapper started with “SPACE CADET,” which dropped on July 16th. They then continued with “I KNOW” on July 18th, “FLEX UP” on July 19th, and “HITTIN MY SHOULDER” on July 20th. The rest of the songs, “FOR FUN,” “CIGARETTE,” “ISSA HIT,” “GLOCK IN MY PURSE” and “F.F” were all released on the final Red & White EP. This exciting introduction to Uzi’s upcoming music proves that you can’t make “Pink” without Red & White.

According to Don Cannon, a DJ, record producer, songwriter, and record executive, Pink Tape will be featureless.

On September 16th, Cannon previewed an upcoming single from LUV, and also confirmed that Uzi’s next project is a solo one. Cannon also established that instead of K. Lee who usually mixes the rapper’s tapes, he will be the one responsible.

Lil Uzi has been promoting Pink Tape for a while, but has delayed it due to quality assurance. It was announced back in December of 2020 during an Instagram Live, where they previewed unreleased music, that a mixtape would be dropping exclusively on SoundCloud.

Baby Pluto has done a lot of collaborations in music with many artists. They’ve done a studio album, Pluto x Baby Pluto, with Future. Some other familiar and popular collaborative song’s they’ve done include “Shoota” with Playboi Carti, “Bad & Boujee” with Migos, “Wasted” with Juice Wrld, and more. Uzi hasn’t done a featureless album since 2016.

They wrote on Instagram a while back, “Going back in classic mode.” Fans are excited for an equivalent to Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World. Many fans liked Eternal Atake, but Uzi has expressed his disappointment because many of the songs from that album were leaked before release.

Will we possibly finally see a 2016 Uzi comeback? Snippets have also surfaced on twitter, as well as performed during festivals, that have fans excited. But Uzi makes so much music, who really knows what the album will be like? All we know is, WE NEED IT!
