After a run of summer festivals and one-off shows, the famed alternative singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey announces a 10-date U.S. tour starting September 14. Rey, fresh off her critically acclaimed ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, played her biggest career show with a 65,000-person attendance.
Despite her trailblazing status in the music industry, Rey recently picked up shifts at Waffle House. Additionally, she admitted to being “too high” to announce the concert on her Instagram page sooner.
The Lollapalooza headliner announced ten highly anticipated shows across the U.S. this fall, accompanied by Nikki Lane and Zella Day. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will visit Austin, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and other landmark cities from September to October.
In August, the icon attended Grammy-nominated producer Jack Antonoff’s wedding to actress Margaret Qualley. According to People Magazine, Rey was joined by fellow A-listers Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and the bride’s mother, Andie MacDowell. Antonoff has played an intrinsic role in Rey’s last four records as both producer and friend, all stemming from her magnum-opus Norman F****** Rockwell.
