After the release of the latest album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season), Karol G is now performing around the country on her first-ever stadium trek in the U.S. At the beginning of June, “La Bichota” announced 6 more dates for her tour.
Besides San Francisco (8/14) and San Antonio (8/31), there still are four cities that are waiting for the Colombian singer to rock the house. There’s Chicago, IL (9/15); Atlanta, GA (9/21); Orlando, FL (9/24); and Boston, MA (9/28). The tour, which is produced by Live Nation, kicked off in Vegas on August 11th and will end on September 28th at the Gillette Stadium in Boston.
The Mañana Será Bonito’ U.S. Stadium Tour is named after Karol G’s history-making album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200. The 17-track set became the singer’s first No. 1 on the tally and the chart’s first No. 1 all-Spanish language album by a woman. It’s a project with several successes: “X SI VOLVEMOS,” “PERO TU,” and “TQG.” And let’s not forget about “UNA NOCHE EN MEDELLIN RMX,” “QLONA,” and “DISPO,” the bonus tracks contained in the updated version of her last album.
With her stadium tour, Karol G becomes part of an elite list of Latin artists who’ve previously launched U.S. stadium runs, including Los Bukis, Grupo Firme, Romeo Santos, and, of course, Bad Bunny, whose World’s Hottest Tour broke local records in 12 of its 15 domestic markets, ultimately earning $232.5 million in the U.S.
