J Balvin Drops Catchy New Single ‘Tu Veneno’

J Balvin is teasing his forthcoming album once again with a brand new single, ‘Tu Veneno’. Just last month, he dropped the lead single of the album, ‘Ma’ G.’

A Catchy New Track

The hard-hitting reggaeton track, which premiered alongside a cryptic music video directed by José-Emilio Sagaró, finds Balvin reminiscing about a love interest that left him wanting more. Produced by Taiko and Sky Rompiendo, ‘Tu Veneno’ narrates a hot and cold relationship. The music video, filmed in Queens, New York, is a cinematic piece following the Colombian superstar as he explores a massive mansion accompanied by a group of skilled dancers.

“Se vuelve loco cuando hace que tú me mencione’. Mujer, dile que a mí me perdone. No es culpa mía que te ande celando por lo del otro día… Me tienes en vela desde la despedida (Ey, ey). Y yo ya no duermo, de noche me desvelo (Me desvelo). Si tú me das una pista, cojo vuelo,” Balvin sings. It translates to “He goes crazy when he makes you mention me. Woman, tell him to forgive me. It is not my fault that I have been jealous of you about the other day … You have me awake since you said goodbye (Hey, hey). And I no longer sleep, at night I wake up (I wake up). If you give me a clue, I take flight.”

J Balvin is Heading to Vegas

There is still no word about when the new album will be coming out. However, Balvin is announcing his very own music festival called the NEÓN Experience. The four-day event is tentatively scheduled to go down from September 16th through the 19th at a flashy new Vegas joint called Resorts World Las Vegas. The lineup is specifically dedicated to Latin musicians, and so far includes the following names: Karol G, Tainy, Jhay Cortez, Rauw Alejandro, Jowell & Randy, Sky Rompiendo, Alex Sensation, Cornetto, DJ Pope, and Agudelo888. The festival incorporates after-parties, secret locations, and club appearances, and J Balvin himself will be headlining the big event.
