British rock band Palace dropped their long-anticipated new single, “How Far We’ve Come,” recently. Discover with us the band’s new release and their upcoming North American tour. Here’s all that you have to know about Palace…
“How Far We’ve Come”
“How Far We’ve Come” arrived only a few weeks after their previous single, “All We’ve Ever Wanted,” and over one year after their latest release, their studio album Shoals. The big return of the band arrived unannounced but surely long-awaited, bringing to the table the possibility of an incredible new album.
The song deals with fears for the world’s future. Palace frontman Leo Wyndham discussed the new release, saying that “How Far We’ve Come” is “about an anxious and fearful glance into the future at what’s to come, with a sense of anger at the chaos we’ve created.”
“It’s about the helplessness and hopelessness we can all feel sometimes knowing that time is ticking,” he added.
“And how far we’ve come, too late / And how much we’ve grown, so slow / And I know, I know that we will turn to dust/ I’ll hold my head up, straight spine/ And pray we’ll be just fine”
North American Tour
Palace is about to leave their mother land to fly to North America for their tour. From May 1st to the end of June, the British band will perform for almost 20 nights between The United States and Canada. Specifically, the band will land in Montreal and Toronto for two dates respectively on June 13th and June 14th. The tickets are currently available for the following nights.
