HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ Actor Angus Cloud Dead at 25

Angus Cloud, a rising star in Hollywood known for his breakout role in HBO's hit series "Euphoria," unexpectedly passed away at the age of 25 on Monday morning.

Angus Cloud, the actor who famously played drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on HBO’s hit series “Euphoria,” died Monday. He was 25.

Angus had been battling severe suicidal thoughts since returning from Ireland, where the family laid his father to rest. Upon returning, Cloud allegedly stayed with family, attempting to overcome the grief, when California’s Oakland Fire Department responded to a medical emergency with the patient “already deceased.”

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” Cloud’s family said in a statement. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the statement continued. “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

Cloud was a rising star in Hollywood, best remembered for his two-season breakout role in the HBO series “Euphoria.” His other acting credits included the films “North Hollywood” (2021) and “The Line” (2023). Last year, he starred in the music videos for Becky G and Karol G’s “Mamiii” and Juice WRLD’s “Cigarettes.”
