Three Songs in One Month!
Country star Hailey Whitters just dropped her third single of 2021, “Glad To Be Here. That’s right, the singer-songwriter is already three songs deep into the new year. If she wanted to start the year off with a bang, she did just that.
Hailey Whitters made January the month of heartwarming country hits. Her last release “Fillin’ My Cup,” which featured superstar band Little Big Town, was fantastically optimistic. That being said, “Glad To Be Here” brings that level of optimism up at least notches.
The consistently upbeat Iowa native continues to release uptempo, country pop tracks. Each of them also reflect her excitement to be living her dream. In addition, her album, 2020’s The Dream, was named after her wonderful, dreamlike musical experiences.
The deluxe edition, out February 26th, is appropriately titled Living the Dream. Hailey Whitters is “Glad To Be Here,” and for her, here is a dreamland. She has worked excruciatingly hard for her career in the country circuit and she finally has done it. Her talented friends within the industry and the Southern based genre all right by her side. Her relationship with Little Big Town continues to flourish, and her new hit features the incomparable Brent Cobb.

In a press release, Hailey Whitters delved into the truth and warmth of her story in “Glad To Be Here.”
“Throughout the whirlwind release of The Dream, I kept catching myself sayin’, ‘I’m just glad to be here.’ I truly felt at peace with my process and was enjoying getting to see dreams come true that I had nearly given up on, believing they would ever happen. I went to go write a song about it, and realised Brent Cobb, Neil Medley, and Brent Rupard had already done it – and done it really well. I knew I couldn’t top it, so I recorded this one and asked my pal Brent to sing on it with me. He went out on a limb by asking me to open for his ‘Sucker For A Good Time Tour’ in the fall of 2019, and he’s also my favourite Country singer-songwriter of this generation, so it was a high honour to have him singin’ on this one with me.”
The truth and humbleness within all Whitters does is clear to fans and critics alike. It’s hard not to be happy for someone who is dedicated to their artistic craft. “Glad To Be Here” is just one of the singles that Hailey Whitters has released in 2021. It’s also just one of the 17 tracks on Living the Dream.
Everything this country star does is leading up to something bigger. She might be living her dream now, but it’s constantly getting bigger and better as she thrives in the country market.
