H.E.R. Set To Perform This Weekend at VAX LIVE

Get your tickets now and tune into the VAX LIVE streaming event with one of the biggest R&B stars out right now: H.E.R. The show is this Saturday!

H.E.R. Is Just One Performance Of Many!

H.E.R. is best known for winning the Grammy Award for 2019’s Best R&B Performance and Album. In 2021 she won again, this time for Song of the Year with “I Can’t Breathe.”

She hasn’t dropped any full-length solo project since 2019’s I Used To Know H.E.R that was widely received as a step in the right direction for R&B music. H.E.R.’s most recent flashes of greatness, however, came from some singles she dropped in 2020: “Damage” and “Comfortable.” This past week she even released a brand new track that features Chris Brown titled, “Come Through”.

We should also be expecting a new project soon, because H.E.R. teased a title and track list for her next project two weeks ago on her Instagram.

The R&B star is starting to build up a collection for her next studio record, so it will be exciting to hear what else she has in store. For now, she is focusing on the upcoming “VAX LIVE” event and performing a few of her new tracks for the global audience.

H.E.R.’s performance is all part of a bigger collective that is bringing awareness for a great, modern cause. Global Citizen’s latest concert initiative, VAX LIVE has one goal: Reunite the World.

Coming Together For The Cause

The global broadcast and streaming special on Saturday, May 8 will feature artists from around the world – not just H.E.R. – performing live during the vaccination drive. The drive is happening on the grounds of SoFi Stadium.

The special event is hosted by multi-platinum recording artist, actress, and producer Selena Gomez. It will also include musical performances from Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, and J Balvin.

Global Citizen is putting on this concert livestream and public health event to draw attention to the need to vaccinate. Also, through their efforts, end COVID-19 and kick-start global economic recovery.

The focus is particularly on aiding African countries, many of which are lagging behind in their distribution of vaccines and healthcare equipment.

Most African countries will not have enough COVID-19 vaccine doses. In order to achieve  herd immunity and defeat the virus, countries need to vaccinate at least 60% of their populations.

Unfortunately, places in Africa fall way short of this recommended percentage. As a result, up to 49-million more African people could be pushed into early deaths and complications in 2021.

This is why, through VAX LIVE, Global Citizen is campaigning to get places under the radar access to COVID-19 tools.

Be sure to get your tickets now and stay on the lookout for more music dropping from H.E.R..
