Acclaimed singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams releases four additional tracks on Good Riddance Deluxe (out now via Interscope Records.) Her now 16-tack deluxe project includes April’s “Block me out” and new songs “Unsteady,” “405”, and “Two people.” The deluxe version of Abrams’s stunning debut album is available on vinyl
The February debut, produced by Aaron Dessner of The National, finds Abrams undergoing a period of intense transformation, deepening her pen game into lyrical storytelling. “Abrams harnesses the emotions of the rising generation into a unique sound full of soft-spoken, simple melodies that are steeped in sadness but still pack a punch,” says M.G. of Rolling Stone for their The Best Albums of 2023 So Far article. “Abrams might have a delicate voice, she might even sing about blocking an ex on the internet, but the way she can deliver seething lines in an angelic whisper sets her apart from her bedroom-pop peers.”
Other artists topping the list are Amaarae, boygenius, Daniel Caesar, and Lana Del Rey, who Abrams has praised via a now-deleted Instagram post.
Currently, Abrams is supporting Taylor Swift on 30 dates of her history-making Eras Tour. And this fall, she will continue her Swiftie duties by opening for some of the megastar’s European dates. See here for more information.
Also, this fall, the singer-songwriter announced a limited run of intimate shows with Aaron Dessner. Together, Abrams and Dessner will perform an acoustic set featuring songs from Abrams’ autobiographical debut album Good Riddance. The Good Riddance Acoustic Shows will take place in New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles in September. See below for a complete list of dates, and click here for ticket information.
