Gabby Barrett is Back With “Pick Me Up”

Country artist Gabby Barrett is back with her first song of the year. “Pick Me Up” arrives as her first track since the release of her debut album Goldmine in 2020 and will be featured in an upcoming deluxe version of the album.

Goldmine (Deluxe) Will be Yours on November 19

If you’re a country fan, you better have your eye on Gabby Barrett. This talented artist just released her debut album last year, and she’s ready to give fans more music. It’s been more than a year since we last heard new solo music from the singer, but she will be sharing more new music pretty soon. “Pick Me Up” arrives as the first taste of new tracks that Gabby will be including in the upcoming deluxe version of Goldmine, coming out on November 19.

Goldmine (Deluxe) will include the 13 songs featured in the original version of the album, plus 4 new ones. “Pick Me Up” is the first one out of those 4. Other bonus tracks will be “Never Get It Back,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “The Good Ones (Wedding Version).”

Gabby Enjoys Life on “Pick Me Up”

“I’m so very excited about this song,” Gabby shared. “I love it so much. I wrote this with Ross Copperman and Jon Nite. I’ll say that it’s a very laid-back, easy country song because I didn’t really have one of those in my repertoire, if you want to say. And so when we were writing this song, it’s just very laid back and very country vibes. So I love it so much, and I’m excited for everybody to hear it. That’s why I wanted to release it a little bit sooner than when the whole deluxe comes out.”

“Pick Me Up” came out with an accompanying lyric video, which showcases a couple enjoying their time together while going on a road trip. It perfectly fits the meaning of the song, as the lyrics of the chorus read, “So pick me up. Get me lost way out, down a back two-lane, little George Strait. Way on up. Get me outta my head and outta this town. And tell me no matter what. You’ll be by my side, everything gonna be alright.”
