Elton John shares his NFT to benefit the AIDS Foundation

In honour of the Pride Month, Elton John has recently announced the creation of his own NFT. In fact, the artist released the Rocket Man NFT, which will benefit his AIDS Foundation.

Singer, songwriter and musician, 80s icon has recently announce the beginning of his new journey in the Metaverse. In fact, the artist just began his collaboration with Jadu and Sweet in order to auction a Rocket Man NFT hoverboard.

Moreover, the artist will also release a series of access tokens. These will allow the access to fan experiences as part of the Rocket NFT Club.

The artist commented the NFT announcement with the following words:

“Whilst I’m no metaverse expert (!) I wanted to make sure that my first NFT was something true to me, and collaborating with LGBTQ+ artist Voxel Bunny and Jadu on something so unique which benefits the Elton John AIDS Foundation for Pride month was the perfect opportunity.

Web3 has the potential to bring people from across the world together like never before and I’m excited for the opportunities to connect with my fans in a vibrant and growing community.”

Building his Aids Foundation

The artist has been a supporter of the fight against AIDS for a long time. In fact, the musician not only gave his moral support to the cause. In fact, he also created his own foundation. Thereupon, he recently announced the collaboration with Walmart in support of EJAF The artist commented:

“Walmart shares my passion for creating a world free from AIDS and I’m so grateful that through my eyewear line, Elton John Eyewear, that today on #nationalhivtestingday and everyday, we’re supporting @EJAF to make strides towards this vision by breaking down barriers to HIV awareness and care in the United States.”
