English singer-songwriter Ella Henderson released her newest single “Brave,” gearing up for her upcoming studio album.
Everything I Didn’t Say: Ella’s First Studio Album in 7 Years
Ella’s first and latest studio album was 2015’s Chapter One. Since then, the musician has released a wide variety of singles, duets, and remixes of her songs. But recently, she announced that the follow-up to her debut album will be arriving really soon. When exactly? Mark your calendars, because Ella’s sophomore studio album, Everything I Didn’t Say, is coming out on March 11!
Everything I Didn’t Say will include the newly-released “Brave” alongside the previously-released track “Let’s Go Home Together,” featuring Tom Grennan. The album will feature a total of 16 songs, with unreleased tunes like “Red Roses,” “Bones,” and “Hard To Love.”
Announcing the new record, Ella said, “I’m so excited to finally share the news that my second album Everything I Didn’t Say is coming in March! I know it’s been a long time coming but I wanted to take the time to really follow my heart and vision, to create something that fully represented me, who I am today, and what I stand for. I am so ready to finally share this body of work! It’s all here… the good, the bad, the ugly! This record means absolutely everything to me.”
The Sad Story Behind “Brave”
Ella also shared how personal “Brave” is for her. Earlier this month, she shared the sad news that one of her good friends had sadly passed away, and she was dedicating the new song to her. “Today I received the news that we lost one of the bravest human beings I have ever come across in my entire 25yrs. Her name was Paige & she was an absolute angel who did not deserve to be taken away this soon…This one’s for you Paige. My brave little star. I will forever think of you when I sing this song from this day on.”
“Brave” comes accompanied by an emotional visual; where a struggling single mom fights to keep her and her toddler son going every day. Have a box of tissues ready, because you’ll need them!
