Gearing Up For Something Big
Last week, the sensational pop jazz band Easy Life shared the visual for a single off their upcoming album. The British group continue to drop song after song, video after video.
The beach bum vibe of “have a great day” is a fun mix of their signature, laidback, “easy” melodies that encapsulates the theme of their upcoming project.
“Have a great day” is set to be on the band’s debut studio project, Life’s A Beach, which drops May 28. On top of the visual for the song, Easy Life also dropped five other singles – including the fan favorite, “nightmares.”
Despite the year’s challenges, the group has been full steam ahead with a releases and performances. They took the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! not too long ago, so now they have that under their belt. The band also has plans to start touring for their album as soon as June 8 of this year.
After blowing up so quickly, especially during a year that was very unexpected, it is clear why the band is eager to capitalize on their success. Tours, videos, albums, and more are filling their catalog up quickly!
An Easy Road For Easy Life
The group has slowly rose to fame since beginning in 2017 and creating a lane of their own. Easy Life signed to a major label less than a year after forming and released their debut EP, Creature Habits.
It wasn’t until 2020, however, that the band would begin their real campaign for success in the industry. Ever since their third mixtape, Junkfood, reached No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart, Easy life has been on a roll with their music. “Have a great day” is just one song part of that.
The group is composed of Murray Matravers on vocals, Oliver Cassidy on drums, Sam Hewitt on bass, Lewis Berry on guitar, and Jordan Birtles on keyboard. Their combined talents has created some catchy bops up until now, just on mixtapes. Now with their debut album coming soon, expect them to step things up with even more great songs.
