Dua Lipa has announced dates for the North American leg of her Future Nostalgia tour, kicking off in February next year.
Get Ready to See Dua Lipa and her “Ultimate Girl Gang” on Tour
The Grammy Award-winner, Dua Lipa will be joined on tour by Megan Thee Stallion, Caroline Polachek, and Lolo Zouaï who she describes as the “ultimate girl gang.”
Dua released her album Future Nostalgia in 2020, and it held up as one of the best albums of the year. She had planned an expansive tour to kick off in spring of 2020. Sadly, in March of that year, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Now, she’s ready and better than ever to give fans what they’ve been waiting for.
“I’m so thrilled to tour again and see my angels in person! How amazing that we all get to dance and celebrate together once again,” Lipa said in a press release. “When I was writing Future Nostalgia, I imagined the songs being played in clubs on nights out with your mates. I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!”
She Has Been Staying Busy
Dua Lipa burst onto the music scene with her self-titled debut album in 2017. Since then, the “Levitating” singer has collaborated with icons including Madonna, and Miley Cyrus. Her album “Future Nostalgia” was released in 2020 to universal acclaim. It also garnered her a Grammy award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
More recently, the pop star joined forces with Elton John on “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix),” and in July she contributed “Demeanor” to Pop Smoke’s new posthumous album Faith.
The Future Nostalgia Tour officially kicks off on February 9, 2022, in Miami, FL, and will make stops all around the United States until it wraps up on April 1, 2022, in Vancouver, BC. You can check out all the dates and view more information here.
