The festival made its debut in 2019 and is held annually each spring in North Carolina. When the pandemic hit, the festival had to be postponed along with every other festival. Then after two years, the festival made a comeback in 2022, featuring artists like Lil Baby, Kehlani, Wizkid, Ari Lennox, and many more. Additionally, this is where Lil Wayne and T.I. announced to their fans on DJ Drama’s set that their long-time beef had ended.

The festival in 2022 was said to be like a family reunion. Artists were eager to get back on stage and perform for their fans, the energy was welcoming and exciting, fans were all just enjoying the music. This year, we have Drake joining J. Cole as a “special guest.” According to Complex, the artists will be performing “a medley of hits from each of their chart-topping catalogs, which collectively have come to define the sound of a generation.”
