Don Diablo’s FOREVER Album is Ethereal

Dutch DJ superstar, Don Diablo, has pleased fans again with the release of his latest album, FOREVER. Known for his genre versatility, Don Diablo showcases his DJ skills in collaborations with Galantis, Ty Dolla $ign, Andy Grammer, and many more artists. FOREVER is a 21-track electronic masterpiece, and only furthers the notion that Don Diablo is one of the greats.

“FOREVER” is Captivating

As the title track, “FOREVER”, is the perfect introduction to such an ethereal album. Featuring Denzel Chain, the soulful and electronic track captivates the audience. Synth-laden beat drops and heartwarming, simple lyrics are just two of many highlights from the song. Denzel and Don Diablo recently formed Camp Kubrick, a collaborative duo in the electronic sphere. “FOREVER” seems to be aimed at giving joy, with repeating lyrics of “Light forever, / love forever, / live forever, / this is forever”.

Don Diablo Goes Green

The seventh track off of FOREVER is titled “Too Much To Ask” and features Ty Dolla $ign. A mix of tropical house and pop, the track has garnered much popularity since its single release in June. “Too Much To Ask” is part of Don Diablo’s #STREAMTOREGREEN initiative, which donates the song’s earnings to environmental organizations. As a result, “Too Much To Ask” has received wide praises, both for its sound and its mission.

The Vitality of “Beautiful Feeling”

“Beautiful Feeling” is perhaps one of the album’s most underrated songs. The song is a perfect combination of electro-pop and 80s synth tones. “Beautiful Feeling” is an unassuming track. As a result, you find yourself suddenly lost in its vitality. Uplifting lyrics like “It gets better every day / Find new friends and let the fake ones fade away” are a key feature in the song.

“Thousand Faces” is A Great Summer Track

One of the most notable collaborations on FOREVER is “Thousand Faces” with Andy Grammer. A vulnerable yet elevated song, “Thousand Faces” is a great end-of-summer track. Don Diablo and Andy Grammer reflect on their pasts and ponder their futures, all the while giving us incredible lyrics and melodies. It’s obvious why so many electronic giants are praising Diablo’s efforts.
