Dierks Bentley and Elle King are going to host the CMA Fest TV special.
ABC’s CMA Music Festival Special
On August 3rd at 8pm EST, Dierks Bentley and Elle King will host ABC’s TV special: CMA Fest. The 3-hour TV special will feature festival performances from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. It aims to bring all the performance highlights and surprises to the fans’ home screens.
This year is the 19th year the CMA Fest will produce a TV special for the summer concert. The longest-running country music festival in the world, this year’s CMA Fest will be in Nashville, TN, from June 9th to June 12th. Passes and tickets for the 4-day festival can be found here.
The ‘CMA Fest’ Hosts
The TV special’s hosts, Dierks Bentley and Elle King, are geared up and ready for the biggest country music festival.
Dierks Bentley, born Frederick Dierks Bentley, is an American country music singer-songwriter. He released his debut album, Dierks Bentley, almost two decades ago. Elle King, born Tanner Elle Schneider, is also an American singer-songwriter. She dabbles in a little bit of everything: county music, soul, rock, and blues. It’s been a decade since King released her debut EP, The Elle King EP. Suffice to say, both are highly experienced musicians on their own.
Together, Bentley and King are sure to rock the CMA Fest. Their new collaboration, “Worth A Shot,” is a romantic, captivating summer duet. Aside from hosting the TV special, the two will also be performing on Sunday, June 12th, the last day of the festival.
Fest Fan Interaction
In addition to watching the special, fans can also download the CMA Connect app to streamline official merchandise, festival lineups, playlists, and on-site interactions. The festival will also have free outdoor activities, stages, games, and giveaways from CMA Fest’s partners.
