Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Mickey Guyton and More to Play CMA Summer Jam Concert

The CMA Summer Jam is jam-packed with country music’s hottest stars. The two-day event, which takes place on July 27th and 28th, will be held at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. The concert fest features nine prominent country artists on the same stage each day.

CMA Summer Jam Takes Place Instead of 2021 CMA Fest

This is the Country Music Association’s first in-person event since the start of the Covid-19, and occurs in lieu of their yearly “CMA Fest”. But don’t worry, if you can’t attend the event yourself, it will air on ABC later this summer. Tickets for CMA Summer Jam go on sale July 14th at 10am CT. They can be purchased here.

Proceeds Will Go To Charity

The proceeds of CMA Summer Jam benefit the CMA Foundation, “which is committed to improving and sustaining music programs through the U.S. so all students have equitable opportunity to participate in a high-quality music education.” Luke Bryan is slated to perform at the festival on Tuesday, and is a key player in the foundation’s endeavors. In February, he recieved the CRB 2021 Artist Humanitarian Award for his charitable efforts.

A Star-Studded Event

Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert will also be performing at the festival. Underwood recently released an album of Gospel songs in March, while Lambert released a collaborative album, The Marfa Tapes, in May. Along with country music’s favorite women, Mickey Guyton will also perform at Summer Jam. She is one of the genre’s hottest upcoming artists, and fans are eager to hear her perform songs from her debut album, Remember Her Name. Country giants like Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, and Blake Shelton are slated to perform as well. Country fans are surely ecstatic to see so many big-name artists on the same stage. The best part? Each artist has complete authority over their set lists, meaning they can choose each song they want to perform.
